Obituary

Lou Ann Henson, 74, of Flagstaff died Thursday October 16, 2008.
Lou Ann was born November 27, 1933 in San Angelo, Texas, to Mildred and Durwood Owens. She came to Winslow, Arizona in 1933 where she graduated from high school. She attended Abilene Christian University. Upon marriage she moved to New Mexico and then returned to Holbrook, Arizona in 1965, and Flagstaff in 1969.
She was employed by Merrill Young Distributing Company and then Mountain Bell Telephone Company as an operator and service representative. She retired in 1991. She was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She loved to travel, fish, cook and solve puzzles of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her Shih Tzu's Angel and Tai.
Lou Ann is survived by her life-long partner Don Daggett of Flagstaff; children Jo Ann Tate of Prescott, Susan Alvin of Flagstaff, Debra (Gary) Nine of Queen Valley, Bill (Rhonda) Henson of Flagstaff; brothers Earl (Cathy) Owens of Missoula, MT., and Sam (Donna) Owens of Chandler, AZ; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, Arizona.
