Louis Armond Cruse, 37, Flagstaff, AZ was called to be with the Lord on October 4, 2005 at his home. He was born on January 21, 1968 in Hanford, California.
Louis was an active member of Lamb of God Bible Church where he was mentored by Pastor Noah in his Christian faith. He shared his personal testimony with anyone who would listen. He wanted to share what the Lord was doing in his life not only by words but by his actions. This took Louis to the local Juvinall Detention Center where he ministered to young adults. His true passion was missionary work. He was a gifted carpenter and used his talent in the missionary field. Louis had no children of his own but loved spending time with family and playing with his many nieces and nephews.
Louis is survived by his mother & stepfather, Ramona & Jimmie Ransdell of Cottonwood, AZ, father & stepmother LeRoy & Ginger Horney of Belflower, CA, three brothers, Michael& Karen Cruse of Minnesota, Vinciet Cruse of Lemoore, CA, and Leroy & Casey Horney of Flagstaff, AZ. Three beautiful sisters, Donna & Steve Moore of Lemoore, CA, Carol & Mike Cobb of Pomona, CA and Heather Cruse of New Orleans, LA. Grandmother Jean Ollivier. Along with many nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, Sunday, October 9th 6:00-8:00 p.m. & from 9:00-9:45 a.m. at the church on Monday. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 10 at Lamb of God Bible Church, 2615 E. 7th Ave, Flagstaff, AZ, immediately followed by grave side service at Citizens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Faithworks, 3600 N. 4th St, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Louis had a heart to reach people and through this non profit mission agency, he touched the world.
