Loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and grandfather, Louis A. Rougemont passed away at the age of 60 on October 9th, 2010. Known to his friends and family as "Louie", was a Flagstaff native. He attended Flagstaff High School, married his high school sweetheart Beverly J. Bates, and raised two beautiful children while working many different positions within the trucking industry, before retiring as a freight manager and broker.

Louie loved to spend time on the golf course, maintaining his beautiful yards, but most of all treasured the time spent with family and friends. A man of his word, those who were blessed to have known him, can trust they will never have a better friend and confidant. He was meticulous about every aspect of his life; from his yard, to his garage and vehicles, right down to the shine on his boots.

His memory will forever live on in those survived by him; beloved wife Beverly J. Rougemont of 40 years, devoted children Theresa M. Freas, married to Eric A. Freas, and Louis "Justin" Rougemont, married to Tracy M. Rougemont. Forever treasured grandchildren Chance J. Arnoldussen, Abbie M. Rougemont, and grand pup Sydney. Siblings Beatrice "Bea" Sedillo (Ralph) , Larry J. Rougemont (Frances), and Leonard A. Rougemont, and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents Jose D. Rougemont, Isabel R. Rougemont; brother Fred Rougemont and in-laws, Robert M. Bates and Joan M. Bates.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14th , at Norvel Owens Mortuary from 6-8 p.m.
Holy Rosary Service will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 15th, at Nativity Catholic Church. A funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m Friday, October 15th at Nativity Catholic Church. Burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
