Louis George Shikany, 78 passed away Friday, November 4, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, after a very short and sudden battle with brain cancer.

Lou was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia, and is survived by 3 Sons Joseph, John and Jim, 2 daughters-in-law's Susan and Jackie, 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Lou is a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran pilot who served proudly during the Vietnam War, during his three tours in Vietnam, Lou earned several medals and accommodations including the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Lou was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who passed on the discipline and patriotism he learned as a Marine to his family.

Services for "PAPA LOU" will be 10am Saturday, November 26, 2016, at San Francisco de Assis Catholic Church of Flagstaff. Papa Lou will be truly missed by family, friends and the community.
