Obituary

Mrs. Louise Edna Long, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Winslow on November 20, 2005. She was born on July 1, 1920 in Red River County, Texas to G.O. and Madge Davidson. She met and then married Fred C. Long on August 14, 1938 in Rocky, Oklahoma. They moved to Winslow in 1952. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary UTU.



Survivors include her two sons, Gordon (Joan) Long of Colton, CA, Charles (Lisa) Long of Winslow, one daughter, Lyndia (Phil) Harris of Winslow, four grandchildren, Phillip Harris, Clay Harris, Bethany Long, Shannon Long, five great grandchildren, AJ Largesse, Madison Harris, Christopher Harris, Cheyenne Harris, Cheyana Long, two sisters, Margurete Vahle and Birdie Adams.



She is preceded in death by her husband.



Visitation will be on Thursday, November 24, 2005 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Norvel Owens Mortuary, 1505 W. 3rd Street and on Friday morning one hour prior to the Funeral Services. Services will start at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church with Pastor Tweedy Sombrero, officiating. Burial will follow at the Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
