Lynda Kay Lund, 61, passed away peacefully Friday, February 08, 2008 as a result of
Pancreatic Cancer.

She was born in East Carbon, Utah Apil27,1946 to Kenneth & Dora Smith. She was
the second of three children. She graduated from Kanab High School in 1964 and then
attended Southern Utah State College, where she studied Physical Education and Dance.
She married R. Dennis Lund on June 25'1966 in Kanab, UT. They lived in Mesa and
Flagstaff and settled in Flagstaff or the second time in 1977 where they raised their three
children.

Lynda's greatest joy was her family and friends. Her proudest accomplishment was
raising her kids and having grandchildren. She was very talented and loved to create
things with her passions sewing and cooking. Lynda loved serving others, sharing her
talents and teaching others new skills.

She was a devout Latter-day Saint and served in many leadership positions throughout
her life. She had so many wonderful friends, who will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband Dennis; children Steven (Rachel) Lund of Flagstaff,
Darrell (Stephanie) Lund of Chandler, AZ and Marilyn (Curtis) Johnson of Chandler, AZ
and four Grandsons; Daxton Johnson, Zane Lund, Derek Johnson, and Seth Lund. She is
also survived by her older brother K. Roger Smith of Kanab, UT and younger sister
Paula Frost of Crofton, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, February l2th 2008 at the Flagstaff Stake Center ,625 E. Cherry Ave, Flagstaff, AZ.
