Lynn Hilliard-Schwartz passed away peacefully and in no pain at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, AZ on July 2nd at the age of 60. During her final days before she left to be with her heavenly family she was surrounded by her children, Life Partner Peter Solbrig and friends.
Lynn is survived by her daughter Shelby Denison and son Nathan Schwartz, as well as first her husband Wes Denison, of Petaluma, California. She is preceded in death by her brothers Norman and Bill Hilliard of Petaluma.
Lynn was born on April 8, 1956 in Hayward, Ca to Robert H. & Mary Ann Hilliard. She graduated from Piner High School and later attended Santa Rosa Junior College where she worked on an accounting certificate before marrying her second husband Jerry Schwartz. Becoming a skilled baker at Jerome's Bar-B-Que, the restaurant she helped run with her late husband Jerry Schwartz. During this time she also raised two beautiful children and was kind caring mother. After many years, she went back to school at Cortiva Institute in Tucson Arizona where she graduated with honors.
Lynn suffered a stroke in 2011 and faced with that challenge she soldiered on and put her life back together against great adversity. She always had a love for life that seemed to be untouchable and looked for the best in people. She enjoyed her crafts, especially making Jewelry. One of her great loves was traveling in her motorhome with the love of her life Pete and her little dog Roadie.
She was an amazing woman with extraordinary talents and a love for everyone. She will truly be missed by everyone who had the honor to meet and know her.
Arrangements by Norvel Owens Mortuary in Flagstaff, Arizona. A celebration of life will be held with family and friend at a later date.
