Obituary

Maggie Bell Blackwood Kyle, age 92 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, December 4, 2017 in Flagstaff, Arizona at her daughter's home. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas in the Red Oak
Community on November 1,1925, the youngest daughter of Archie Blackwood and Nora Manuel Blackwood.

Maggie loved to visit with family and friends. One of her greatest joys was the Blackwood family reunion which was held at her home for many years. She kept an album in which she added new pictures of the
family who attended each year. She enjoyed her gardening and always had beautiful flowers and roses all around the yard. She enjoyed fishing, and as long as they were able, she and her brothers Osher and sister Emma and brother-in-law Ralph Prewitt would go to Blanchard Springs to fish the little lake there.

Maggie had a strong Christian faith, loved her Red Oak Church where she was a member most of her life. She always said there was no other place like it or could be better than it. Her church family always speak of her with great respect and admiration.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Olin Richard Kyle, siblings, Ulysses, Homer, Dink and Osher Blackwood, Okia McKinney, Beatrice Blackwood, Captola Blackwood, Pearl Rose and
Emma Prewitt.

Survivors include her daughter Wanda Murdock and husband David of Flagstaff, AZ; grandchildren,Tammie, David and wife Tracie, Richard and wife Sara; four step-great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Blackwood of Marshall, AR; many nieces, nephews and family and friends who will miss this sweet lady.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Red Oak Freewill Baptist Church, 137 Archway Lane, Marshall, AR, 72650. Service provided by Roller-Coffman Funeral
