Manuel Sanchez passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2016 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Chuco was born on May 14, 1947 in Albuquerque, NM to Flora and Tony Garcia, both preceded him in death. He was the fifth child of fourteen and was preceded in death by 3 Siblings. Chuco is survived by his wife of 46 years Carmen and children Manuel (Deanna), Joseph, Nicholas (Jordyn), and Carmen Marie (Philip) and 3 Grandchildren Philip, Diego and Soren. He served in the Vietnam Era for the U.S. Army and retired from the National Guard. He worked for the Coconino County for many years before retiring in 2009.

Rosary and Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at our Lady of Guadalupe at Rosary at 10:00am, Mass at 11:00 a.m. followed by graveside services with military honors at Calvary Cemetery.
