Obituary

Marcus Anthony unexpectedly left this lifetime on December 19, 2022, at the young age of 40 years. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his passing.

Marcus is survived and forever cherished by his partner Patric Boston, his mother Jody Loren (Sergio), father James Patterson (Chandy), siblings Nicholas Patterson (Dominique), Frank Rye and Nikki Hough (Joshua). He is also survived by his grandfather (Tata) Frank Bermudez (Joyce), his grandmother Shirley Patterson, his aunt Frankie Duran (Buddy), his uncle Ben Duran, his uncle Duane Patterson, along with nephews, nieces and cousins.   He is further survived by his community "Family". He never met a person who wasn't a friend. He was well-loved and respected by his family, community/family and his ASU family as well.

Marcus was predeceased by his grandmother Judy Duran and his grandfather James Patterson, Sr.

Marcus had an enthusiasm for making you laugh and smile and all-around loved life to the fullest. He was funny and his mind was brilliant. He loved riding his motorcycle, music of all sorts, Zelda and other video games. He loved rollercoasters and anything fast. He had a love for cooking and baking and was amazing at such. When Marcus walked into a room, the energy changed for the better. Marcus changed lives everywhere he went. His bright light will shine on forever. People have asked how Marcus passed…let's remember how he LOVED & LIVED.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Angels of Gratitude in order to carry on his legacy, forever. AngelsofGratitude.org
