Margaret Goitia, lifelong resident of Flagstaff, passed away at her home on December 29, 2017. Margaret attended Flagstaff High School where she met and eventually married her high school sweetheart, Edward Goitia. In their 55 years of marriage they were blessed with 6 children: Linda (Rick) Anderson, Victoria (Kent) Taylor, Kathleen (Joe) Reichman, Joseph (Tanya) Goitia, Michael (Michelle) Goitia, and Margaret Ann (Kevin) Kosisky, as well as 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

Her greatest joys included caring for her family, welcoming guests with a warm meal, and daily visits with her brother, Pete Ramirez. Margaret was an avid Phoenix Suns fan who enjoyed collecting bells and indulging in sweet treats. She lived an accomplished life full of laughter and love, passing down her playful sense of humor to her children and grandchildren. Margaret joins her devoted husband, loving daughter, Kathleen, and grandson, Dylan, with our Heavenly Father.


Services will be Friday, January 5, 2018, at Our Lady of Guadalupe catholic Church, 224 S Kendrick St, Flagstaff, AZ. Rosary at 9:30 am and Mass at 10:00 am with Interment at Calvary Cemetery to follow.
