Margarete Frieda Dunn, 89, of Flagstaff, AZ, formally of Monterey, CA passed away on Dec. 2, 2007. She was born in Bromberg Germany on June 11, 1918. Margarete was a legal secretary and a home economics teacher. She married Leonard Dunn who who served in the US Army and came to the United States in 1949. She became a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed creating needlework masterpieces. Margarete charmed everyone who knew her. She was always surrounded by a close circle of friends because of her caring nature, generosity and fantastic sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi, and husband Leonard. She is survived by her sister Gerda Gursch, daughter Ute Salisbury (Sandy), son Thomas Dunn (Lauren), grandchildren Julie, Stacie, Rusty, Ryan, Sean, and Brenden and 5 great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Secured Care Unit at Loyalton Assisted Living Facility, 2100 Woodlands Blvd., Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
