Maria Aurora Gallardo of Flagstaff, AZ passed away June 20, 2010 after battling a long illness of M.S. She is survived by her sisters: Victoria (Ricardo) Reyes of Globe, AZ, Cecilia Cassity of Laveen, AZ, Dora Broom, Rosalie Gallardo and brother Francisco Gallardo of Flagstaff, several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Born October 20, 1942, she was 67 years old.

Ms. Gallardo graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1961 and moved to San Francisco, Ca where she worked at Firemen's Fund Insurance Company. After a few years she returned to Flagstaff where she worked as a waitress at La Casita Café for several years, then as a sales clerk at several establishments. She also lived in Phoenix AZ and worked as an accountant.

Aurora was a loving and giving daughter, sister, aunt and friend throughout her life. She will be greatly missed. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, having cook-outs and parties, and creating picture collages of family and friends. She had several other hobbies which she enjoyed doing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marcelino Gallardo; mother, Consuelo Gallardo, brother Gregorio Gallardo, nephews Ari, Oba, and Jason Gallardo and brother-in-law Michael Broom.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 224 N. Kendrick Ave on Monday, June 28, 2010. Rosary at 10:30 am, Mass at 11:30 am, with a luncheon to follow.
