Marie Antonia Beymer, Daughter of Flornz and Olga (Kronfuss) Bock, was born on September 3, 1926 in Earling, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia, Iowa, and graduated from St. Boniface Catholic School.
On December 31, 1952 Marie was united in marriage to Kenneth Beymer in Des Moines, Iowa. Five children were born to this union: Ronald, Therese, Connie, Mike, and Mary. After Ken was discharged from the military, he and Marie made their home in Atlantic, Iowa.

Marie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also collected teapots, dolls and antiques, and was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic. Marie was a very giving person and was always helping others, especially her brothers. She loved to spend time outdoors with her flowers, go shopping and stop at garage sales.

Fifteen months ago, Marie moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to live with her daughter and granddaughter. It was there that she died on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Flagstaff Medical Center, having attained the age of eighty-two, nine months and eight days. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings: Tony, Theresa, and Bernard.

She is survived by her husband Ken of Atlantic, Iowa; their children: Ronald Beymer and his wife Shari of Hamlin, Iowa; Therese and her husband Ray Logemann of Flagstaff, Arizona; Connie Beymer of Atlantic, Iowa; Mike Beymer and his wife Donna of Atlantic; Mary and her husband Clay Gittins of Rockwell City, Iowa; fifteen Grandchildren: Jennifer and her husband Steve Hansen; Stephanie and her husband Cory Schultes; Justin Logemann; Richard Beymer; Christel and her husband Jonah Bense; Jason Beymer and his wife April; Veronica and her husband John Baker; Nathan Logemann and his wife Angela; Kelsey Gittins and Sara Milbordt; Nicole Beymer; Misty Rose and her husband Tyler Sease; Hayley Gittins; Kyle Beymer; Ryan Beymer, Corey Beymer; twenty great-grandchildren;: Maraya Sisk; Corbin Logemann; Dalton Logemann; Thomas Sisk; Oxford Bense; Heidi Logemann; Ruby Marie Logemann; Madison Beymer; Holden Jensen; J.D.
