Mark C. Enerson went to his heavenly home 5/13/26. Born to Nila and Carl Enerson 4/25/46 in LaCrosse, WI, he was the eldest of 5.
Mark had a beautiful voice and worked in radio broadcasting in WI, WA, OR, AK, and at KNAU Flagstaff. He lived in 5 different states by the age of 18. He dedicated his life to Christ and tried his hardest to steer his family in the right direction.
A Polio Pioneer and in 1970/71 was a corneal transplant pioneer which allowed him to see for decades. He earned his Ham radio license at an early age, teaching himself Morse code and building his own kit radio (KN0DDJ, KL7OS).
He loved his family, Jesus, outrageous puns, coffee, the news, waterfalls and rainbows, books, history, the Packers, radio, Usingers, nebula, planets and stars, and many rescued pets. He could spell any word-a friend called him Mr. Webster- he was a walking thesaurus and editor. Mark was practical and frugal, well spoken and kind. He truly believed in equality, justice and gingersnap cookies. "73"
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sue, son Chris (Dani) grandson Greyson, siblings Mike (Susan), Carol (Tom), Connie (Fred) and Scott (Raquel), many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be this Friday 22nd of May at 2 pm Shepherd of the Hills, Flagstaff. Any gifts in his memory may be donated to Sunshine Rescue mission, Flagstaff Family Food Center or Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Flagstaff.
