Marlene Kearney "Nanny"
Born May 13, 1935 returned home August 25, 2008.

Marlene was and is someone who was there for you with advice for free that would always come to be true. Marlene was known to put others first from family to friends and even strangers. From the moment you first talked with her she made you laugh and you were destined to fall in love.

Marlene fiercely loved her family and friends including her extended family at the Cancer Center. Marlene never stopped fighting; she fought through years of cancer and helped other patients fight too.

Join us for a celebration of her fight Saturday, August 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66. Reception to follow.
