Mary Lou Harshman, 86, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 in Flagstaff after a short illness. She was born on September 26, 1930 in Defiance, Ohio to Harry & Pauline McFarren. Mary Lou worked at the Caylor Nickel Clinic in Bluffton, Indiana until she married William L. Harshman on June 5, 1976, and they moved to Flagstaff in 1979. She was active in Mountain View Church until shortly before her death.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, her younger sister Judy, and two step-sons, Scott Harshman & William "Randy" Harshman. She is survived by her 3 sons, Douglas F. Graves, James A. Graves, both of Flagstaff, and Michael E. Graves of Greentown, Indiana, as well as a step-daughter, Cindy Goedesky, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 2:00PM at Mountain View Church, 2150 E Linda Vista Drive in Flagstaff, with visitation from 1:00-2:00. A graveside service will be held immediately afterward in Citizen's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dalton Blackwell Foundation in care of Mountain View Church.
