Mary "Molly" Schneider, 80, died May 17, 2011 at Olivia White Hospice Home. She was born February 25, 1931 in London, England. Met her husband Paul Schneider as he was serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed in England. They came to the U.S. in 1954 and later moved to Beatrice, NE after Paul finished Physical Therapy school. They made their home in Beatrice for 50 years where they raised their family and then moved to Flagstaff, AZ in 2009 to be close to two of their daughters.
Molly had a life long passion for books and reading which she shared with her family and friends. Her interests led to starting her own small at-home business of buying and selling rare books. It also led her to volunteer work for Beatrice Public Library. She loved gardening, antiquing and watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Molly assisted her husband for many years in his Physical Therapy practice and was instrumental in opening his own clinic.
Survived by her husband Paul, brother Richard Newman of Shrivenham Swindon, UK, daughters Sue (Therett) Lewis of Flagstaff, Linda (Doug) Hanna of Lincoln, NE, Kay (Dave) Roesch of Denver, CO and Connie Schneider of Flagstaff; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kate and John Cotter and 2 sisters, Bridget Duffy and Kathryn Dybdall.
