Mary Lou Swan Irby's Obituary
Mary Lou Swan Irby, 93, passed peacefully on November 13, 2008 at the Emerald Hill Adult Care in Prescott.
Mary Lou began her amazing life June 3, 1915, in Port Arthur, TX. One of six children, she was born to James and Katie Swan. Mary spent her childhood in Port Arthur and Chambersburg, Ill. She graduated high school in Port Arthur and attended Business College. Mary moved to Arizona with her husband and children in the early l960's.
She is survived by her son Donald Irby (Janis), and daughter Peggy Irby; granddaughter Katie Lynn Irby, great granddaughter Laila and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Henry Ford Irby.
Mary will be laid to rest next to Ford at Citizen Cemetery in Flagstaff on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Hospice.
