Obituary

Mary Laverne Warner passed away on the 19 th of December, 2020 after a lengthy and courageous battle with dementia.

She was born in Phoenix, Arizona a second generation native of Arizona on November 15, 1932 the daughter of Everett Corwin Vinyard, a miner and Josephine Luksich Vinyard, a Yugoslavian immigrant.

She is survived by 3 sons Everett Warner (Judie) of Phoenix, Karl Warner of Mesa and Edgar Warner III (Kathy) of Flagstaff, 5 grandchildren Heather, Travis, Courtney, Bethany, and Chad, and numerous great grandchildren.

She was married to Edgar Eugene Warner Jr on February 11, 1950.  They were married until his death on January 14, 2011.  With him she traveled the world as a Navy Wife and raised her three boys and was an outstanding home maker.

Mary had a strong belief in God and her faith.  She had multiple gifts as a ceramic artist, which many friends and family members were privileged to enjoy.

She loved to be around people and never met a stranger, and anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her absolutely fell in love with her and her stories.

There will be a celebration of life on Thursday February 11 th at 10:30 AM at The West End Baptist Church 9101 W. Indian School Road and a Graveside Service at her final resting place Greenwood Memory Lawn in Phoenix, Arizona at 719 N. 27 th Ave where she will be reunited with her love of 71 years.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the Arizona Humane Society in her name to help support her love for animals.
