Mason James Hanson our 22 month old "Panda Bear" was born 6-12-2014 in the cozy mountain town of Flagstaff Arizona. Just 660 days old he tragically passed March 31, 2016 at his home in Flagstaff Arizona.
Mason was born at Flagstaff Medical Center blessing the entire community with his presence. He had a contagious laugh, a touch that would soothe your soul, and a smile that would light up the darkest room. Mason enjoyed life; some of his favorite things were dancing, singing, going outside, riding in the car, snuggling, laughing, running, chasing, climbing, giving kisses, but most of all he loved his family. His best friends were his 5 year old sister Megan and his 6 year old brother Mikey. When Mason's eyes opened in the morning he would instantly start yelling for his brother to wake up. "Mikey! Mikey! Mikey! Wake up!" he was ready to start the glorious day ahead of him. We believe that Mason faced each day knowing that his time on earth was going to be short. This clarifies why he was so perfect with the ability to change people with just one look, smile, or touch.
Our sweet baby Mason will be missed by so many. He is survived by his Mother Jessica Hanson, Father Michael Hanson, Brother Mikey Hanson, Sister Megan Hanson, Grandparents Garry and Pauline Hanson and Michael and Cathy Tongen. The number of the people who survived Mason is too long to list, you know who you are.
The celebration of life will be at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church on Sunday April 10, 2016 at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Following there will be a graveside service at Citizens Cemetery. We are opening our home to everyone that would like to participate in the creation of "Masons Garden" after the service.
