L. Cpl. Matthew J. Broehm was killed in action Wednesday, November 4, 2010 in Afghanistan. He had served in the Marines for three years. We mourn his passing but celebrate his life.

He leaves behind his devoted wife Lianna, that will always love him, his father, mother, sister and two brothers, all from the Williams area.

He was devoted to God and his country. His desire was that others would know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His biggest dream was to become a youth pastor and to share Jesus Christ with all the youth.

The family is having a celebration of his life on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Williams., 629 W. Grant Ave. This will be a potluck, so bring your favorite food and memories to share. All family and friends are welcomed as Matthew will be receiving full honors from the United States Marine Corps. Join us for his 21 gun salute.
