Maurice Dennis (Bud) Clifford was born on October 13, 1937 in Cohoes, NY and died August 31, 2025 in Flagstaff, AZ, after a brief illness.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Maurice Francis Clifford and Katherine Adele Hennessey Clifford, and his infant twin sons James and Anthony.

He is survived by his children - Valerie, Dennis, Patrick, Michael, and Megan - and granddaughter, Solara.

He is also survived by his sister, Karol C. Graber, and brother, Donald F. Clifford, and their families.

Bud was proud of his service in the U.S. Navy where he served aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Ticonderoga based in Norfolk, VA.  He was later a member of the NYS National Guard.

Bud spent many years working for the NYS Employment Agency and in private practice assisting clients in securing work.

Bud's family would like to thank his fellow members of the Secular Franciscan Order, his mentor Jan Zoucha, and his friends and relatives for their support.
