Melba Holsomback peacefully went to be with our Lord on May 5, 2021 in Flagstaff, AZ. She was born in Hodgens, OK. on January 22, 1926. She married the love of her life, Leon Holsomback, September 9, 1944. Melba and Leon moved to Flagstaff in 1950 where they worked and raised 5 children. She loved to cook and make beautiful quilts but her biggest passion was loving and serving God. She became a charter member of Greenlaw Baptist Church in 1956 and remained active until her health would no longer allow it. She is proceeded in death by her husband Leon, her son Charles and his wife Lois, and her grandson Jeremy Holsomback. She is survived by daughters Barbara Davis (Robert) of St. Johns, AZ, Peggy Harbottle (Mike) of Flagstaff, Loretta Snider (Roy) of Flagstaff, her son Dale (Sue) of Chandler, AZ, and her sister Dorthy Law-McAlister (Claudy) of Eager AZ. Also 11 loving grandchildren and 12 loving great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10 am at Greenlaw Baptist Church followed by a private family graveside service at Citizens' Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Saint Jude's Children Foundation.
