Melody "Mello" Joy Long passed away peacefully at her home with her family on Sept 5, 2018. She was proceeded in death by Matthew (son), Barbara (mother), Patty and Robin (sisters) and Wayne (brother). She is survived by her loving husband Joel, April (daughter), Tyler, Natalie, Hunter (caring grandchildren), Clifford "Skip" (father) and Robert "Stoney"(brother). Mello was born in Spencer, Iowa and raised in Flagstaff, AZ. Graduating from Coconino High School. She continued her education at CCC. She found her happiest moments opening a family business. She pursued her calling in helping others to overcome life's struggles. She was a compassionate, caring, full of life, brighten the room person. With a heart bigger than the moon. She will be missed.

Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 E Linda Vista at 10:00 am Saturday, Sept 15 ^th . Also Celebration of life service to be held at the Alano Club 2101 E 3 ^rd Ave at  2:00pm Sunday Sept 16 ^th .  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made through a gofund me account https://www.gofundme.com/mello-long-funeral-fund
