Michael Stephen Ring, aged 57, died unexpectedly at his home in Williams, AZ on August 7th, 2024. He is survived by his father Herbert Ring and his sister Heather Brennan. Michael was born March 25th, 1967 to parents Constance K. Ring and Herbert Ring. He attended school in Fairfax County, VA and went on to a career in long distance truck driving. After his retirement from driving, he settled in Williams and joined the Arizona Rangers, where he became a Lifetime Member and Sergeant. Mike served in many different capacities as an Arizona Ranger and was awarded Ranger of the Year in 2022 for his steadfast dedication to serving others.
Mike particularly enjoyed assisting with the Shop with a Cop program, which helped raise monies and gifts for needy kids throughout Northern Arizona. He was also the recipient of a Meritorious Achievement Award for his assistance during the 2020 presidential election cycle; he served proudly on the election committee, performing multiple tasks and duties. Michael donated countless hours to Arizona Rangers over his 11 years serving in the organization. He will be remembered as a kind and caring individual, passionate about his service in the Arizona Rangers, and dedicated to the continuing education of young people through awareness and community service. He was also a supporter of the ASPCA, adopting and caring for many animals over the course of his lifetime, and finding good homes for many more.
A funeral service is scheduled for September 14th, 2024 at 11am at the Williams Cemetery in Williams, AZ. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael's life and achievements. Michael would be grateful for any donations made to the Arizona Rangers High Country Company, the FCA Christian Academy, and the ASPCA. The Ring family would like to thank Rich Beecroft and his family for the unwavering help, love and support.
