Myrlee Irene Lukens, 91, of Williams, AZ, passed away February 4, 2010 in Flagstaff. She was born in Pilot Grove, Iowa on April 23, 1918. She grew up on a farm in Iowa. She enjoyed her church and her friends there. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. In 1935 she married Claude McFarland and they had four children. She is survived by her children Jack McFarland (Juanita) of Williams, Dorothy Cox (Glenn) of Council Bluffs, IA, Janis Alexander of Pleasant Hope, MO; her daughter-in-law Wanda McFarland of Waterford, CA, her brother Lloyd Penry of Red Oak, IA, and by fourteen grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude, her son, James McFarland, and by one brother and two sisters. A visitation will take place Sunday, February 7 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. There will be a graveside service Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Williams Cemetery, Williams, AZ at 10:00 a.m.
