Myron E Becker entered into his eternal rest January 27, 2017, while residing at Olivia White Hospice Home in Flagstaff, AZ. Myron was born in Ulysses, Kansas to Irvin and Adella Becker. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Once discharged from the Army, he started an apprenticeship as a journeyman lineman with Kansas Gas & Electric in Wichita, Kansas. In October 1957 he married Joan Dirks, she preceded him in death in February, 1998. In the early 70's they brought their family to Flagstaff; the mountain town became home no matter where in the world he resided.
Myron worked many years for Arizona Public Service, then in Saudi Arabia during his career as an electrician. He was present in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.
Myron is survived by his sister Pernie (Lester) Matthies of Cedaredge, CO; his children, Jeff (Rhonda) of Hotchkiss, CO, Kris (Tammy), Bret, and Joni (Chaz) Martinez,all of Flagstaff, AZ. He is also survived by four grandchildren & six great-grandchildren.
Viewing at Norvel Owens Mortuary will be on February 3rd from 10:00-
