Nancy Elaine Pugh-Dexter, born March 23, 1948, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 11, 2011 following a battle with brain cancer. Nancy moved to Cameron, Arizona in 1958 from California and became a resident of Flagstaff in 1962. She will be remembered and cherished for her unwavering kindness, humor and unconditional love by all who knew her. In 1997, she moved to the island of Kauai and spent the next 14 years living in paradise close to her daughter Stephanie. She spent her time in Hawaii bringing much joy to everyone she came in contact with. As a massage therapist, she helped numerous people feel better every day. In January, 2011, Nancy moved back to Flagstaff and spent her remaining months surrounded by good friends and family.
Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Shirley and survived by her brothers Steve and Jeff Rayner; her children Stephanie Pugh Leonard, Mindy Pugh Fouts with her spouse Dan Fouts, Daniel Pugh and Bradley Pugh; her grandchildren Austin, Reece, Bryce, Ani and Palii.
