Norma Jean Wechsler, 83, of Flagstaff passed away Oct 31, 2012. She was born in Fort Stockton, Texas May 27, 1929 to Harvey and Myrtle Mills.



She spent the majority of her life in Oklahoma, where she worked and made a home for her family. She loved her family and her opportunity of being a homemaker. She was a member of the Homemaker Extension Club in Clinton, Ok. Norma enjoyed golf, tennis, traveling and music. Her passion was playing the piano and leading the music in her church.



Norma married Delmar Giles in 1945 and together they had 2 sons. In 1982 she married Dave Wechsler, they retired to St. George, UT together. In 2010 she moved to Flagstaff to be near Roger and his family.



She is survived by her sons Robert (Kathy) Giles of Clinton, OK, Roger (Janet) Giles of Flagstaff, step-sons Benje (Marsha) Wechsler of Edmond, OK and Steve Wechsler of Clinton, OK; Grandchildren Jennefer, Mackenzie, Julia, Jessica, Jeremiah and Mandy, as well as 7 great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10am at Mountain View Church, 2150 East Linda Vista Drive, Flagstaff, AZ. Burial will follow at the Citizens Cemetery.
