Obituary

Odis Eugene Dillow, of Flagstaff died April 3, 2008 in Flagstaff at the Olivia White Hospice House. He was born May 1, 1924 in Acworth, Texas to Issac and Florence Dillow. He came to AZ before World War II. He served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Takanis Bay (CVE 89).

He worked in construction, and as a truck driver, with numerous employers the last being BB Bonner.

His hobbies included playing cards and working on cars. He was an avid Storyteller and loved playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his many nieces and nephews. He greatly enjoyed being around people. Odis was a loving and caring man.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Lee Hoffman-Dillow of Flagstaff, daughters; Marjorie Ann Hoffman and Vicki Jean, sister Etta May Fuller of Phoenix; Stepsons Garry (Judy) Hoffman of Flagstaff Larry (Lori) Hoffman of Flagstaff, Mike (Barbara Corvin) Hoffman of Flagstaff 3, grandchildren, 13 step grand children and 15 step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by: his parents, 6 brother and 1 sister.

Hospice, P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, Arizona 86002 and the American Cancer Society.

Services to be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Norvel Owens Mortuary.
