Patricia Anne Heron (Pat) peacefully entered eternal rest on September 5th 2023 at the age of 89 in Flagstaff Arizona. Patricia was born in Sunburst Montana to Eldon and Margaret Haney on September 14th 1933. She was the third of five children Bill, George, Dan, and Judy.  In Patricia's early years the Haney Family moved from Sunburst to Grass Creek Wyoming. Then leaving Grass Creek for Deaver Wyoming, she attended Deaver High School. After high school, she married Huntington Downer, having three children Cindy, Michelle, and Christine. Patricia also raised her sister Judy as her own daughter. (Hunt deceased 1970). She married Robert (Bob) Heron in 1971, they lived happily married for 34 years until his passing (2005).

Along with raising her children, Patricia had a career in book keeping for many years until she was finally was able accomplish her lifelong dream of becoming a licensed practical nurse. Patricia had a passion for writing, being actively involved in her writers' guild for years. She was a lover of music, playing base guitar in the "Sidewinders" country band for ten years, and was also a dedicated Denver Broncos fan. She was recently inducted into the Daughters of the Revolution. Though her true passion was her love for family, she absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her four daughters Cindy (Jim), Michelle (Corky), Christine (Mike), and Judy (Eric), 15 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, Brother Dan and Sister Judy.

The family would like to thanks The Peaks assisted living center for their care and compassion during her stay there.

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, spunky personality, and loving soul. Her spirit lives on through family.

The memorial service will be held Thursday September 14th 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 224 S Kendrick St., Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Rosary mass is at 10:00AM, funeral mass is at 10:30AM, followed by a graveside service at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 San Francisco St., Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
