US Army PVT first class Paul Thompson, 78 years old was born in Leupp, Arizona. He attended Albuquerque Indian School. After high school he enlisted into the US Army. He fought for his country during the Vietnam War where he received several medals including the National Defense Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal and The Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1975. Paul remained quite active in the military community after his discharge. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 112 and the Leupp Veterans Organization. He was always so eager to help with color guards, parades and casket watch for fellow fallen comrades.

Paul had two children; Paulina & the late Chad Thompson. Paul also has countless grandchild whom he adored.

Services and reception is open to all who wish to pay their respects.

Burial - with Military Honors 12 Noon Camp Navajo, Bellemont, AZ

Reception - American Legion at 1:30 PM. 204 W. Birch, Flagstaff AZ
