IN LOVING MEMORY

Paul V. Woerth of Liberty, Missouri

02/19/1952 - 05/20/2025

Paul died at the Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona on May 20, 2025 from injuries sustained while participating in a cross-country motorcycle ride honoring veterans. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Arla; mother, Stella; two sons: Cory and Clint; four grandchildren: Carson, Kyle, Chris and Lexi; one great-granddaughter, Scarlett; niece Lindsay who was a daughter by heart; two great-nieces: Cassidy and Davan who were bonus grandchildren; brother, Steve; sister, Roxanne; cousin, Julene who was a bonus sister; and more additional friends and family than could ever be counted or named. Paul had a thirst for life that was unparalleled. He participated in more groups, clubs and activities than could ever be listed. He loved motorcycles, traveling, playing cards, hunting, the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals but most of all, he loved his friends and family. Everyone who knew him can recount a story of Paul pitching in and helping others with no expectation of recognition or reward. He often took on leadership rolls acting as both teacher and mentor with patience and kindness. Paul had a solid grasp of sarcasm and a quick wit. He was always quick with a smile and put others at ease. Paul was born in Fairbury, Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School in 1970 followed by two years at the Lincoln School of Commerce. Paul served in the Nebraska Army National Guard from 1973-1979. Paul worked at Brunswick in Lincoln building TOW missiles from 1970-1982 followed by a career in the Real Estate, Mortgage and Banking Industries. He made countless friends and connections along every path that he walked. After retirement, Paul volunteered as a rider in the Patriot Guard and worked as a motorcycle funeral escort where he again became surrounded by new friends some of whom became additional family. Services for the celebration of Paul's life will be held on June 7, 2025 at Liberty Christian Church, 427 E Kansas Street, Liberty, Missouri 64068. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with service to follow.
