(Dorothy) Pauline Landry passed away in Sun City West, Arizona on July 8, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born to Tom and Bea Nations on October 8, 1928 in Nesbit, New Mexico. She was raised with her five siblings in Duncan, Arizona where she graduated high school at the age of 15.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband John Telesphore Landry Jr., her children, John Telesphore Landry the 3rd (Bev), Patrick Thomas Landry (Rhona), Roxie Diane Landry (George), and grandchild, Mechelle Lorraine Stern (Michael). She is survived by her two daughter-in-laws, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She worked very hard to take care of her family and she played just as hard. Loving to spend time with family and friends while camping, fishing, and four wheeling. She spent much of her life in Flagstaff, Arizona. Taking a 12 year stint out to run a trading post in Polacca, Arizona. She enjoyed living with an serving the beautiful people of that community. After that, she was employed by Gore until her retirement. She spent her retirement years in Payson and Surprise, Arizona.
Pauline was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many positions over the years. She loved her membership in the church and loved to be of service.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 625 E. Cherry Ave. Flagstaff, Arizona on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Dedication will follow at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St. Flagstaff, Arizona.
