Obituary

Phillip "Red" Hollingsworth, 74, died November 3, 2009. He was born April 14, 1935 in Flagstaff, AZ the son of Phil and Ruby Mangum Hollingsworth.

Red served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked as a mechanic all of his life and enjoyed hunting with his sons, reading, and watching the Lawrence Welk TV Show.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Roene, son's Frank, Terry, and Steven all of Flagstaff. His brothers Tom (Darlene) of Cedar Hills, Utah, John (Pat) of Vancouver, Washington; sisters, Colleen Tennant, Mesa, AZ, Patricia (Merrill) Hammon, San Antonio, Texas, and Mildred (Van) Layman of Auburn, Washington; two aunts, many nieces nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his older sister Jenny Brogk and both his parents.

Services will be held Monday November 9, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Linda Vista Chapel, 2401 E. Linda Vista Dr. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 and services will begin at 11 am. Burial will conclude services will military honors at Citizens Cemetery, Veteran Section.
