Prescilla Urias Reeves, daughter of Tomas and Anita Urias, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 after an extended illness.
She was born in Flagstaff at Flagstaff Community Hospital March 16th, 1947. She was the widow of William (Bill) Reeves II whom she married in 1974 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church here in Flagstaff.
She graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1965, where she was active in several organizations including the FHS marching band. Most recently Prescilla worked as an Office Administrator in both public and private education, in Flagstaff and the Phoenix metro area. She also worked several years as a Dental Assistant. She lived in Peoria, Arizona.
She is survived by her two sons David and Tom, her parents Tomas and Anita, brothers Richard Urias of Lafayette, Colorado and Robert Urias of Arvada, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Friday, October 24th at 11:00 AM, and will be conducted by Fr. Patrick Moorer. A reception will be held immediately afterwards in the Church basement. Funeral arrangements have been made through Norvel Owens Mortuary.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Northland Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002. Without their assistance, this hardship would have been much harder.
