Randall
Reynolds
Jul 2, 1950 — May 20, 2022
Randall L Reynolds passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Randy was born on July 2, 1950 in Lakewood, California to Alfred Jr. and Elsie Reynolds. He graduated from La Sierra High School in Carmichael, California.
Randy battled many health obstacles and was a true testament to staying positive. He lost his hearing in adolescence, was diagnosed with Addison's disease in early adulthood, and received a kidney from his son Jarom in 2003, enduring many years of dialysis before and after his transplant.
Randy served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in upstate New York, the Hill Cumorah Mission. After which, he attended Brigham Young University where he met Geraldine Kay Farnsworth, to whom he was married for 37 years. They were married on November 15, 1974 and had 6 children.
He worked for many years as a general contractor and was able to design and build two of his family homes. He retired from the National Weather Service as a Sector Facilities Technician for the southwestern United States where he oversaw many projects including installing and maintaining new weather doppler construction and new weather stations. He enjoyed taking his kids on his travels for some one on one time.
On March 9, 2013, he married Deborah Taylor and remained married until Debbie's passing in 2021.
He is survived by his sister, Cecelia; his children Theresa (Austin) Ashcroft, Mark Reynolds, Brent (Brianan) Reynolds, Jarom Reynolds, and Cory (Kami) Reynolds, step-daughter Melissa (Ricardo) Lopez, and 17 grandchildren.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kathleen and Malissa, his daughter Audrey, and his wife Debbie.
"Try to behave" up there, Dad. We love you.
