Rena Rose Yarzie, 5l, died Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the Flagstaff Medical Center. She was also known as Rena Tohannie and Rena Begay,

Ms. Yazzie was born April 16, 1954 in Tuba City, AZ to Nellie Maloney and Denny

Tohannie. She attended Tuba City boarding school and spent several years in San Diego, California with the LDS Placement program. Rena married Dan Y. Begay of Forest

Lake, AZ in1972. She raised her family in Forest Lake, AZ and was married for 20 years. She was a resident of Cameron, AZ at the time of her death.

Ms. Yazzie completed two semesters at Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, AZ.

Her hobbies included weaving, beading, and reading. She was known for her beautiful rug weaving.

She is survived by her children: Releana Gorman, Danny Begay, Daylon (Day-Day)Begay. Her siblings: Marcinda Galindo, Vertina Yazzie, Larry YazzieJr, Dawn Yazzie, Carolene Yazzie and Pamela Yazzie. Her grandchildren: Shaina Gorman, Kayla Gorman and Mirelle Gorman.

Nightly meetings will b? held at the Cameron Chapter House at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20 - Thursday, September 22.

The funeral service will be Friday, September 23,2005 at l0:00 a.m at the Nazarene Church in Cameron.
