Rex Allen Courtney died February 16, 2008 in Flagstaff, Arizona, he was born March 7, 1953 in El Dorado, Kansas. He moved to Flagstaff in the early 1970s from Phoenix was employed by Segus/McKesson Pharmaceuticals as an Agent delivering medications to Doctors, Hospitals Pharmacies, and Clinics throughout Northern Arizona. He was an active member of East Valley Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman spending time on the mountains, and with animals. He was a free soul happy go lucky spirit.

Survived by his wife Mary of 20 years of Flagstaff son Zachary Courtney, Daughter Claire Courtney, Mother Tracy Courtney, Siblings Debbie Courtney, Sue Elsner, Lisa Markham, and his step-sons Marcus Swimmer and Marvin Thompson. He was preceded in Death by his Father Calvin Leslie Courtney.

Services are Friday February 22, 2008, Visitation at 1:00 pm Services at 2:00 pm at East Valley Baptist Church 10655 N Hwy 89 in Flagstaff, Arizona
