Richard E. Cancino born April 16, 1940 in Flagstaff, Arizona passed away May 21, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Flagstaff Public Schools graduating from Flagstaff High School in 1960. In 1961 he married Odilia Ulibarri. He worked construction for many years as a Mason. He also served 8 years in the Army National Guard. Richard was an avid outdoorsman loved hunting, camping, cooking and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Odilia "Vieja" Cancino; 2 sons Richard Jr. and Eric (Summer); daughter Monique (Jon); brother Tony (Daisy) Cancino; his grandchildren Matthew, Amber, Briana, Audri, Jaise, Bryce, Eric Jr., Alyssa and Robert; great-grandchildren Gabriel and Vincent and many other family members.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Reidys Cancino; father Raymond Cancino; and brother Ray Cancino Jr.

Services will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., with Mass celebrated at 10:45, military honors will follow.
