Rita A. Rees, 84, of Flagstaff passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 16, 2016. Rita was born in Pennsylvania where she met and married her high school sweetheart Edward Rees. They moved to Flagstaff in 1978 where Rita worked and eventually retired from NACOG (Northern Arizona Council of Governments). In her retirement Rita enjoyed decorating her home and yard with many wonderful treasures, spending time with family and friends and sharing her life and home with her pets Annie and Luigi.

Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward in 2007.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Mark (Kristina) Rees of Flagstaff, Edie (Stan) Mayer of Cave Creek and Matt (Kristy) Rees of Flagstaff her grandchildren Lindsey, Audrey, Alec, Laura and Ray as well as cousins and many friends and neighbors in Cheshire.
