Robert C.A. Klingelhofer
Robert C.A. Klingelhofer, 95, of Flagstaff passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Olivia White Hospice Home. He was born on June 14, 1911 at Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Robert retired as a Lieutenant for the U.S. Navy. He served in World War II, Korean conflict, and Pearl Harbor at time of the attack. He traveled to every continent including Antarctica. He was part of the American Legion Post #3. He enjoyed reading, movies, and being with his family.
Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jonna and Rodney Peterson; grandchildren, Tyler (Amber) Winton and Caitlin Peterson; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Tyler Winston.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Wilcox, one brother, and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Northland Hospice, 452 N. Switzer Canyon Dr., Flagstaff, AZ 86001, and Second Chance Animal Rescue, 11665 N. Hwy 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004.
