Robert E. Burnett, 79, of Flagstaff passed away August 1, 2006. Robert was born in Jackson, Michigan on March 28, 1927. Robert was stationed on the USS Irwin during WWII and in the Naval Reserves for six years following the war. Robert had a great sense of humor and loved to eat. He loved to travel and he did as much as he could. He lived in Sarasota, Florida for 31 years where he also enjoyed building architectural scale models.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis Jean.

Robert is survived by one son, Stephen Paul of Sarasota, Florida and one daughter, Carrie Burnett, D.C. of Flagstaff, Arizona.

Memorial Services will be on Saturday, August 12 at 2 PM at the First Congressional Church of Flagstaff, 740 N. Turquoise Drive.
