Robert Darrell Crawford born, July 27, 1950 in Portland, Oregon was called home June 08, 2009 in Flagstaff Az.

Memorial service will be held June 13, 2009 at 1:30pm at the Church of the Nazarene, 805 Picard Road, Dorris, CA.

Bobby could do anything he put his mind to.

Bob loved his family and friends. With his love of horses Bob enjoyed Chariot Racing, team penning and team roping He won a saddle and many belt buckles along with monetary. As a young man he was involved in 4-H, gymkhana, and rodeos. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed team bowling and was very proud that he bowled a 300 game receiving a gold ruby ring for that game.

Bob started his career in construction with Jess Burns in Grand Juction, Co building custom homes and commercial properties. While in Colorado, Bob was in charge of the Sheriffs Search and Rescue Organization.

After Bob left Colorado he moved back to Dorris, CA and worked with his father doing custom hay bailing in Butte Valley, CA and he ran the Harrowbed crew for his brother Don in Don's custom hay business. Bob helped start the Cal-Ore Racing Association in Butte Valley, CA. The Reno Rodeo Association asked him to start team penning in Reno Nevada.

In 1997 Bobby moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to build custom homes for his cousin Keith Moore of RKM Construction. Bob finished his career out building many beautiful custom home and a new church for Mt Calvary EV Lutheran Church in the Flagstaff area.

Bob is survived by his wife Sherry Crawford of Flagstaff, AZ, his daughter Machelle Crawford, Step daughter Jennifer (Bryan) Elliott, step son Aaron (Becky) McGee, his mother Mae Crawford, his sister Linda (Dwayne) Hadwick his brother Don (Linda) Crawford, granddaughters Niquel,Shayla, McKenzie Crawford and Bryn White. Grandsons Deon Crawford and Step grandsons Jason, Chase McGee. Niece Monica Friel and Tiffany Starling, Nephew Randy Hadwick

Bob was preceded in death by: his father Robert Earl Crawford and sons Jesse Ray Crawford and Steven Earl Crawford. His grand parents Albert and Cecelia Crawford and Myrtle De Lozier and Clark Bryan.

Bob will be missed by family and friends.
