Robert "Bob" D. Heiliger, 63, of Flagstaff, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010.

Bob was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Porterville, CA. He was raised and attended school in Riverside, California, before moving to Flagstaff in 1979. He worked at and retired from W.L. Gore & Associates. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson. He loved building his custom motorcycle. His kind and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Heiliger is survived by his longtime companion of 18 years Soncha Van Hazel; Son Matthew C. Heiliger; Daughter Tanya Winscott; Brother Michael Heiliger and his wife Bette; Sister Dottie Pouritt; Brother Steve Heiliger; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hudson and Pauline Heiliger.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff.
