Robert Anthony Florez,57, born to Lillian Chavez on March 27, 1964 in Flagstaff, Arizona; passed away on August 18, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones.

Robert is survived by his partner Nilton Nez; children, Robert Anthony Florez Jr, Teena Marie Cruz, Erica Y. Lomeli and Evelia Macias.

Also left behind are 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who Robert was a dedicated and devoted tata to .

Robert was strong, brave, smart, funny and such a happy and beautiful person. He was our father, tata, best friend and whole world.

We are so proud of his will to keep fighting. For so many years Robert's sense of humor and positiveness gave us joy, hope and warmed our souls.

Robert is forever in our hearts, on our minds and will be deeply missed.

Robert loved watching sports- especially MLB's Boston Red Sox and NFL's Los Angeles Rams. Free time included watching scary movies; tv shows like ID channel, Golden Girls, Sanford and Son just to name a few. Spending time with friends, sharing laughs with his children, teaching and playing with grandchildren and loving all who came into his life. Robert also had a huge passion for cooking. He would feed the world if he could.

Funeral Services will be held August 27, 2021. There will be a viewing from 8:30-9:15a.m. at Norvel Owens Mortuary 914 E. Rte 66 Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. with Mass following at 10:30 a.m. at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Graveside service will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flagstaff, Arizona.
