Robert Frank Richardson, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 27, 2010 with his beloved wife Dorothy at his side. Born January 6, 1921 in Trenton, New Jersey, Robert worked for and retired from the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. After retirement, the Richardson's moved to Vero Beach, Florida. In 2004, Robert and his wife moved to Prescott, AZ, where he spent his final years of life.
Bob served his country in the US Army during WWII as a sergeant stationed
on the New England coast. At home he was a great outdoors man, a skilled craftsman & a devoted family man; but his greatest joy in life was with his wife, Dorothy -working, planning, traveling, and sharing all of life together. Robert kept his wry sense of humor to the end of his days.
Son of the late William and Hilda Richardson, he is predeceased by his brother William Richardson of Vero Beach, Fl. Robert is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ethel(Dey) of Prescott, AZ and brothers, Richard Richardson of Columbus, NJ; Joseph Richardson of Vero Beach, Fl and Raymond Richardson of Hollywood, Fl.
He leaves behind five children as well; daughter Devah Brinker of Bordentown, NJ; son Robert C. Richardson of Louisville, CO; daughter Jan Pfleiderer of Ithaca, NY; daughter Shirley Ruiz of Dover, DE; and daughter Karuna Fedorschak of Prescott, AZ.; as well as 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren.
A memorial reception is planned for late October in Prescott, Arizona.
