Obituary

Robert Gonzales passed away on 29 July 2026.

Robert was born in Flagstaff, Arizona, on 05 February 1950, to parents Manuel and Lucy Gonzales. As a proud resident of Flagstaff, Robert graduated from Coconino High School in 1969. Robert was always known as a hard worker wherever he put his efforts and was once recognized as "Mr. Congeniality" by the Coconino County Parks and Recreation. He loved working for the county and would always brag about how it was the best workplace he had ever had the opportunity to be part of. Robert loved both of his trucks he owned: his red Nissan, which he named "Suavecito," and his white Toyota Tacoma, which he would reference as his "baby." Robert had ventured all over Northern and Central Arizona as part of his work and was proud to be from Arizona. He loved telling stories about his "good ol' days." Stories of family, friends, and running pool tables. Robert loved watching sports and enjoying an ice-cold Monster mug with his sons at Porky's.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Lucy, and his brother Lorenzo (Larry). He is survived by his brother Freddy, Sister-in-Law Jenny, his sons Jaime and Mario, grandchildren Jasmine, Fernando, and Ulysses, nephews Ricky and Marty, as well as many friends.

All his loved ones will deeply miss him and will always remember him as a fun and loving guy who even left this world joking with a cheerful outlook on life.
