Robert Dean Hardy
Robert Dean Hardy 85, died Saturday Dec. 30, 2006 in Flagstaff. He was born on August 11, 1921 in Tucson, AZ. Growing up he helped his family run the dairy farm, before meeting his wife Elizabeth (Betty). They were
married on January 1, 1942. They lived in the Mesa-Chandler area for several years, while working for Mountain Bell. They had three children: Larry, Betty Ann and Janet. After retiring they moved to Wilcox for a short time and have currently resided in Flagstaff for the past 8 years.
He enjoyed rodeos and participating in team roping. In the last years of his life, Mr. Hardy and his wife raised and showed rabbits is a hobby. He also loved to go hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Hardy; son, Larry Hardy; daughter, Janet Hardy Mickelson; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Betty Ann Hand Hardy and
granddaughter, Robyn Arnold.
There will be a public viewing Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm at Norvel Owens Mortuary. The funeral services will be held at 11:OO am Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2401 E. Linda Vista Dr., Flagstaff. A reception will be at the church following services.
